Ajoua Jackson Named Principal of Andrew Langston Middle School

Superintendent Dr. Eric Jay Rosser is pleased to announce the appointment of Ajoua Jackson as Principal of Andrew Langston Middle School, effective July 1, 2026. 

Ms. Jackson currently serves as Assistant Principal at Andrew Langston Middle School and brings extensive experience as an educational leader, special education administrator, and instructional leader within the Rochester City School District. Before this role, she served as Coordinating Administrator of Special Education for the Youth and Justice Program, supporting educational programming for students at the Monroe County Correctional Facility and Monroe County Jail. She has also served the District in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including as a classroom teacher, Community School Site Coordinator, and special education teacher.

Ms. Jackson is known for her commitment to supporting students with diverse needs, building strong relationships with families and staff, and fostering equitable and student-centered learning environments.

Ms. Jackson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Education and a Master of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Buffalo State College. She also earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Administration and Supervision and School District Administration from SUNY Brockport.
