SCHOOL No. 20 UNIFORM POLICIES FOR 2015-2016
We are seeking to help all of our students feel a part of our school wide community. Uniforms will help them feel more connected. We ask parents to ensure that your child is in uniform before leaving home each day.
If a child arrives out of uniform, the parent will be called to bring a uniform into school.
Shirts for Male and Female Students: (Solid Red, Navy or Black Polo style shirts – 3 buttons with collar)
- Male and female students will be required to wear a collared, 3-button polo, short or long-sleeve shirt in solid red, navy or black colors only.
- Girls may wear a white collared uniform blouse with a navy or black jumper or skirt.
Male Students: (Solid Navy, Black or Khaki bottoms)
All male students will be required to wear navy, black or khaki uniform pants (Dockers style) (no jeans) of the appropriate size with a belt properly at the waist. All male students will have the option of wearing navy, black or khaki uniform shorts of the appropriate size during the months of May, June, September and October.
Female Students: (Solid Navy, Black or Khaki bottoms)
All female students will be required to wear either pants, jumpers, skirts, capris or skorts of the appropriate size in navy, black or khaki. No jeans, tight pants or leggings are allowed. Skirt and jumper hem lines should fall at the knee. Shorter skirts and jumpers are prohibited. All female students will have the option of wearing navy, black or khaki uniform shorts of the appropriate size during the months of May, June, September and October.
GYM UNIFORM: Black or navy sweatpants or shorts with a red, black or navy
School 20 T-shirt (with logo) is required. Gym t-shirts are ordered through the website above.
Gym uniforms are only allowed on Phys Ed days.
For cooler weather, there is a School 20 navy or black fleece jacket available from the website above.
