Mr. Peter Hilling

Hello!

Appreciate the opportunity to teach 6th grade this year with Mrs. Dale and Mr. Artman this year! We have departmentalized and are teaching one content area each to begin preparing the 6th grade students for what's to come in 7th grade. Mrs. Dale will teach English Language Arts and I will teach Math throughout the school year; Mr. Artman will teach Social Studies in marking period 1 & 2 and then Science in marking periods 3 & 4. This coming year is my 20th year teaching. When I wasn't teaching 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th grades for the Rochester City School District, I was working as an Instructional Technology Teacher on Assignment (TOA) for the Instructional Technology Department. My TOA work provided me with an opportunity to learn about the educational soft and hardware available to teachers and students, support a variety of students and teachers in many schools and collaborate on many techno projects with students.

On a personal note, my wife Paula and I have three grown children, a son-in-law, two dogs and three cats.
