Level Up Literacy Conference | March 7, 2026
Together we can turn the page. One City. One Vision. Every Child Reading.
As we continue to cultivate a strong culture of literacy across RCSD, we invite you to participate in the upcoming RCSD Level Up Literacy Conference, taking place on Saturday, March 7th from 10:00 - 1:00 at East High School.
The purpose of the conference is to bring together students, educators, families, and community partners around a shared commitment to literacy excellence and to build collective efficacy across our school community. Through collaboration and the sharing of effective practices, the conference will support improved literacy outcomes, deepen family and community engagement and inspire a district-wide culture where literacy is prioritized.
The event will kick off with a dynamic and joyful opening celebration, “Reading in Style: Books and Looks” Fashion Show, where students, staff, community partners, and curriculum partners will walk the red carpet dressed as their favorite book characters, school mascots, or literacy-inspired figures. This experience will spotlight creativity, representation, and a love of reading.
