Literacy Events

During the 2025-26 school year, the Rochester City School District (RCSD) launched its annual literacy campaign, Level Up Literacy. This initiative brings together students, educators, families, and community partners around a shared commitment to literacy excellence and to build collective efficacy across our school community. Through collaboration and shared vision, Level Up for Reading will support improved literacy outcomes, deepen family and community engagement and inspire a district-wide culture where literacy is prioritized.

During its founding year, the Rochester City School District is hosting several community events for Level Up for Reading. We hope that families, staff, and community will come learn with us. Together, we can turn the page on literacy outcomes. One city. One vision. Every child reading.
