Committee of Stakeholders for State & Federal Programs

Scope & Purpose –
The Office of Grants & Program Accountability, in accordance with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), is seeking to create a Committee of Stakeholders to support Federal and State Funded Programs. The purpose of this task force is to invoke the valuable voices of multiple stakeholder groups as various programs are planned and implemented which are funded through Title I, II, III and IV as well as the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA). This committee will be composed of a variety of stakeholders in an effort to maintain adequate representation of various stakeholder groups and to promote shared decision-making and progress monitoring with regard to State and Federal funded programs. As such, the Office of Grants & Program Accountability has and will continue to actively recruit students, teachers, principals, assistant principals, parents, specialized instructional support personnel, community partners and members, parents, and local government representatives to participate in this team. The team will meet on a quarterly basis in order to review quarterly reporting of Federal and State Programs and to ensure the effective management of the following:
- Consultation and collaboration in the needs assessment process as related to ESSA-funded programs and APR/CRRSA funded programs.
- Ongoing progress monitoring of all Federal and State funded programs.
- Analysis and evaluation of programs in order to ensure effective and optimal use of grant funds.
