Information About...The Office of Community Partnerships
The Office of Community Partnerships assists in the acceleration of student achievement by cultivating and maintaining supportive partnerships between schools and the Rochester community through local businesses, government agencies, educational institutions and other community partners as volunteers and mentors.
The mission of Community Partnerships will take the lead to promote best practices, set high expectations and standards to develop and sustain comprehensive programs of partnerships that support and accelerate student and post-secondary success.
The biggest piece of community partnerships are the RCSD's PENCIL Partnerships. PENCIL partnerships pair local businesses or organizations with an RCSD school, to bring ideas and resources into our schools. For more information about PENCIL Partnerships in the district, please click here.
