Department of Payroll

The Rochester City School District Payroll office handles semi-monthly payroll processing, direct deposits, monthly reporting to the Teachers Retirement System and the Employees Retirement System, retirement buyouts, federal and state tax withholding, deductions, and garnishments.  

Deductions from salary are made for any of the following that apply to each employee:

  • Federal/State Taxes
  • Flex Spending-Medical/Childcare
  • Retirement System Contributions/Loans
  • Union Dues
  • Health/Dental/Vision Insurance
  • Social Security/Medicare
  • Tax Sheltered Annuity
  • Court Mandated Garnishments or Levies
