Proof of Residency/Address
Acceptable Proof of Residency
In order to register a child in the Rochester City School District, a parent/guardian must present (1) one proof of residency/address that they live within the City of Rochester.
Acceptable documents include:
- Mortgage or closing statement
- Deed
- Lease (must include all pages with current dates and signatures)
- Landlord Statement
- Pay Stub
- Income tax form
- Utility or other bills
- Military Orders
- DSS Declaration
- Documents issued by federal, state or local agencies
- Other original documents evidencing residency
- Voter registration documents
