- “Grow Your Own” pathways for current RCSD staff and community members
Who is Teach Rochester for?
The Teach Rochester program is for individuals who:
- Are interested in becoming a teacher in Rochester City School District
- Are currently in or considering a teacher preparation or certification program
- Are a current RCSD paraprofessional, teaching assistant, substitute, or support staff member and are interested in becoming a certified teacher through a Teach Rochester pathway
- Are working in RCSD (or the community) and interested in growing into a teaching role
- Have a bachelor’s degree and are exploring alternative pathways to certification
- Are passionate about serving urban students and communities
