Grade 9Applying to School of the Arts (SOTA): Interested applicants must inquire directly with the school. Please contact the SOTA Audition Hotline at 324-3502 for application information. The process includes an application, interview and audition for consideration. The deadline to apply for School of the Arts is December 16, 2016. Wilson Magnet High School: Interested applicants are required to complete a short essay related to the International Baccalaureate Program. The application deadline was January 20, 2017. For more details, please visit the school's website.If you are applying to other schools: Most schools expect families to visit the school and all schools expect parents and students to sign a compact agreement with the school. - 9th grade applicants: You are an 8th grader at East Lower School, Integrated Arts & Technology High, Leadership Academy for Young Men, Monroe High, Northwest Junior High at Douglass, School of the Arts or World of Inquiry School No. 58 and wish to remain at that school.
Registrations for children entering the Rochester City School District can be accomplished at the district’s Office of Student Placement and Equity, located at 131 W.
