ABOUT US
Northeast is a school that prides itself on empowering students to utilize their voices for change and the betterment of their community. Northeast originated on the Frederick Douglass Campus in Rochester, New York. Frederick Douglass dedicated his life to achieving justice for all Americans. With Douglass influencing our course, we purposefully instill the grit that is needed to create self-reflective students who will be agents of change. We are currently transitioning into a Social Justice High School, one of the few of its kind in the state, to encourage students to cherish their identities, bring change to their communities, and develop a new generation of leaders.
