Mary Jane has been a professor at the University of Rochester since 2003, running the language teacher education program. Prior to that she was a researcher in the United Kingdom and a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin. While she was there she wrote her dissertation for her PhD about the experiences of immigrants and refugees in community college.
Mary Jane supports RIA by making connections between people and resources at the University of Rochester/Warner School and RIA. Some of these connections include student teachers, the University of Rochester soccer team, professional development opportunities, and the Pan-African Association.
