• Me llamo Kari Plandowski y estoy muy emocionada ser la maestra de su chiquillo/a este año.  Este es mi undécimo año de ser maestra en Escuela #33.  Tengo un bachillerato de ciencias en educación primaria, educación especial, y español.  También tengo una maestría en educación bilingüe.  Participé en un programa de intercambio en Costa Rica por dos años.  Tuve la oportunidad de mejorar el español y también ser maestra en unas escuelas enseñando inglés, matemáticas, y español a los chiquillos.  También estuve profesora de inglés en el instituto: Universal de Idiomas de Costa Rica.  ¡Me fascina Costa Rica!  Cuando puedo, regreso para visitar a mi familia y amigos.  Estas experiencias me ayudaron mucho en ser maestra bilingüe.  De toda forma me encanta el idioma español y la cultura de todos los países hispanos.

    My name is Kari Plandowski and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year. This is my eleventh year as a teacher at School #33. I have a bachelor’s of science in elementary education, special education, and Spanish. Also, I have a master’s degree in bilingual education. I participated in an exchange program in Costa Rica for two years. I had the opportunity to improve my Spanish and to be a teacher in schools teaching English, math, and Spanish to children. I was also a professor of English at the institute: Universal de Idiomas de Costa Rica. I am fascinated by Costa Rica! When I can, I return to visit my family and friends. These experiences have helped me a lot in becoming a bilingual teacher. I love the Spanish language and the cultures of all Hispanic countries.
