    Start submitting your 2022-2023 Professional Learning Experiences using the 2022-2023 PLE Request Form.
     
    REMINDER:  All courses must follow the complete Professional Learning approval process before any course is begun.
     
    Continue to check your transcripts for accuracy throughout the school year. If you see that a course is missing, please check with the instructor.  Complete ALL surveys as soon as each meeting date concludes so that your credit can be issued. Any further issues, contact the TrueNorthLogic mailbox.
     
     
    The Office of Professional Learning is dedicated to the development of educators so they may gain the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high quality educational experiences for all students of the Rochester City School District.  We strive to develop meaningful learning opportunities through collaborative experiences and embedded professional growth opportunities.  Educators can then engage students in rigorous instructional activities evident in increased student understanding and achievement.
     
    Our work is aligned with the New York State Professional Development Standards and those of Learning Forward.  This alignment ensures that we stay current with the latest research on professional learning and work collaboratively with leaders in the profession to improve our service.

    As the Office of Professional Learning moves from control over professional development into a role of consultation, monitoring and providing additional support to school-based efforts for improving the academic performance of all Rochester students, we will use the framework for professional learning to guide our work.
