Welcome to Kindergarten at Charles Carroll School No. 46!

For families that haven't been part of our Pre-K program, we anticipate that you may be both excited and anxious about your child’s first school year. Kindergarten is an exciting time as children eagerly participate in a variety of hands-on activities as they work on learning math, reading, writing, science, and social studies concepts.

We encourage you to get involved as much as your schedule will allow – join PTA, volunteer in your child’s classroom, have lunch with your child whenever you have the time to. You are your child’s first teacher and we welcome your participation. It sends the message to your child that you value education and that their school experiences are important to you.

We look forward to having your family as part of the School No. 46 family and consider this the beginning of a long-term partnership where we work together to help your child learn and grow into a successful, well-rounded and contributing member of society. Definitely take time to read through the 2017-2018 Kindergarten ABCs; it was put together to anticipate and answer all of your questions.
