Professional & Personal Back Ground

I have been teaching in the Rochester City School District for 18 years.  I began as a kindergarten teacher and have taught first, second grade along with health & wellness, which stems from my background in a previous career as a dental hygienist.  I am now a reading intervention teacher, in which I help to provide students the ability to learn great reading skills and open the door to a new world of information and learning. 

I recently completed the Urban Leadership program at the University of Rochester.   Which has helped prepare me for my next goal in life- to assume a leadership role in education administration.  We all need goals in life and this is mine.

I am very excited to be part of the support leadership team at Charles Carroll School 46.  I look forward to meeting and working with new students and their families.  A favorite part of my job is the opportunity to pass on my love of learning & reading to all of my students.

When I am not at school, I enjoy reading and traveling and spending time with my family.  One of my favorite things is chocolate!!
