  • Yearbook Pre-sales have begun!  Order your 2015-2016 Vanguard Collegiate High School Yearbook between now and January 29th at the pre-sale price of $25.  On February 1st, the price increases to $30.  To order a yearbook or for more information, contact Yearbook Advisor, Sue Hollister at sue.hollister@rcsdk12.org.

  • Vanguard Artists Raise $1013 for American Heart Association

    A group of artists created handmade, love-themed artwork and hosted multiple sales at Spot Coffee on East Avenue. The group raised $1013 for the American Heart Association! Well done, artists!

  • Vanguard Senior/Junior Prom 2016

    The 2016 prom, themed "The Great Gatsby", will take place on Friday, May 27th at the Radisson Rochester Riverside Hotel, 120 E. Main Street. Tickets are $40 each through April 21st. After that, they will be $45 each. See Senior/Junior Class Advisors Ms. Coccia or Ms. Hollister-Cronberger to purchase your tickets!

    Keeping Tabs on Cancer

    Students in Ms. Lee-Monds' Participation in Government classes will be collecting soda can tabs for The CURE Childhood Cancer Association. They use the money from the tabs to provide hospital parking passes for local families who have loved ones receiving treatment for cancer. Vanguard students will be collecting tabs every Monday after school. For more information, see Ms. Lee-Monds in room 143.

    Team Vanguard Makes Strides against Breast Cancer

    Thirty-one students and 3 staff members represented Team Vanguard in the 2015 Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday, October 18th. The team raised over $600 and joined over 10,000 walkers, who collectively raised $655,000 for the American Cancer Society.

    Genesee County Museum Field Trip

    Participation in Govenment teachers, Mr. Griffith and Mr. Krug, took 28 students to the Genesee Country Museum on October 8th. They saw weaving, barrel-making, farm animals and a Civil War balloon!
