• Academy of Hospitality & Tourism gives students an opportunity to explore and prepare for careers in travel, tourism, and hospitality. Internships and other practical experience are part of the curriculum.
  
  
• The Academy of Sports Medicine & Management prepares students for careers in athletic training, physical therapy, sports medicine, and sports management. Students have internships with local athletic, medical and sports organizations during senior year.
  
  
• Research-based instructional strategies help students develop skills in English Language Arts and Math.
  
  
• Hands-on experiences and small-group projects help students learn to find answers through research, investigation, and discussion. Some classrooms have two co-teachers working together to enhance instruction.
  
  
• Computers and technology integrated throughout curriculum.
  
  
• Accelerated academic instruction for advanced students.
  
  
• Extended-day academic support.
  
  
• Wellness Center offers counseling, social services, and after-school activities in partnership with community agencies to better serve the needs of all students.
  
  
• Extracurricular activities include art, music, newspaper, math league, drama club and a full sports program.
  
  
• Serves grades 7–12.
