Samuel Hans Adler

Samuel Hans Adler was a professor of composition at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York from 1966-94. Mr. Adler was a conductor and a teacher. Samuel Adler's family came to the USA in 1939 and he attended Boston University.

In 1950 he joined the US Army. He was awarded an army medal.

In 1966 he joined the Eastman School of Music faculty.

In 1984 Adler became an active member of the SCAP.

Adler has written many compositions and more than 200 have been published.
