Kenneth Grant

Kenneth Grant plays the clarinet. He grew up in Buffalo, New York. He became a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in 1987. Kenneth also performed in the Buffalo Philharmonic in the summer of 1969. Mr. Grant toured Europe in August 1990 as a substitute Assistant Principal of the Cleveland Orchestra.

In May, 1992, he performed the Brahms Quintet with the Muir Quartet at the Music at the Gainey Festival in Owatonna, Minnesota. Mr. Grant has taught at Barker Central Schools in Barker, New York and atCapital University.

In June, 1996, Mr. Grant was invited to perform a recital and present a master-class as part of the University of Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium. He is now a professor of Clarinet at the Eastman School of Music. Mr. Grant has a lovely wife and three children.
