The Young Rascals were an American singles band that achieved success from 1966 to 1968. The group was initially known as an R and B group that appeared on stage in front of both black and white audiences. It was one of the first white rock groups to record for Atlantic. Their top hit was '' Groovin''.
The Rascals kept up with their good success. The Young Rascals were formed in New York in 1964 by: Dino Danelli and three other of Joey Dee's Starlighters: Felix Cavielier; Gene Cornish, and Eddie Brigati. They started playing and singing together at Choo-Choo Club, Garfield, New Jersey on February 1965. Gene Cornish was one of the men who lived in Rochester, NY.
Many of their hits were very large. There are many other hits like: "Good Lovin' "; "You Better Run";" I've Got To Be Free"; " A Ray Of Hope"; "See"; "Carry Me"; and "A Lonely Heart See's". But two of the albums didn't sell as good as the others. Read more about The YoungRascals in the library.
