Chuck Mangione is a famous musician.

He was born on November 29, 1940 in Rochester, New York. His dad's name is Frank. His mom's name is Nancy. He has an older brother Gaspare "Gap" and a younger sister Josephine. All of the children received music lessons.

He played the piano at the age of eight. He learned to play the trombone two years later. He was a student of Dizzy Gillespie.

He won his first Grammy in 1975 with the song " Bellavia".

At the beginning of his career he played at Italian and Jewish weddings.

I have heard one of his songs. It was an instrumental. You can clearly hear the trumpet through almost the whole piece.

He continues to compose and play his music.
