“There is no other solution to a man’s problems but the day’s honest work, the day’s honest decisions, the day’s generous utterance, and the day’s good deed.” (Clare Boothe Luce, American playwright and diplomat, 1903-1987)
This quote best describes Charles Stockmeister, a parent volunteer at Lincoln School No. 22 whose daughter, Rhoda Stockmeister, is a fourth grader.
Mr. Stockmeister is an asset in so many ways. He is at the school from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. most days. If he sees anything that needs to be done, he takes the initiative to do it. He can often be seen picking up trash, “weed whacking” the school yard, and helping out in the cafeteria.
Mr. Stockmeister is also a member of the PTA and School-Based Planning Team. He has also found the time to attend meetings of the District Advisory Council to Title I (DACT). He has been vocal in encouraging other parents to join the PTA and get involved in school activities.
He always has a kind word for the students at our school as he encourages them to do their best. We are truly proud to have Charles Stockmeister as a part of our School No. 22 family. |
