I would like to nominate Heather Miller from School No. 35 as Parent of the Month. Her twin girls, Abby and Beth Miller, are in first grade here. Mrs. Miller is serving her second year as president of the School No. 35 PTO and also tutors at the school. 

Last year, when I had her daughter Abby in my class, Mrs. Miller would help out in the classroom one morning a week as a "room mother." When there was a need in our school last year to help out with the Fast ForWord reading program, she quickly filled that need. When organizing the school’s family dance last year, she used her connections to obtain DJ's for the event at no cost; it was a wonderful event that Heather used to recruit new parents for the PTO.
