Heather Donahue has three children in the District (Taryn, Miranda, Larissa) and another that graduated in 2005 (Ryan). She has made her children’s education a priority in her life. She is an enthusiastic supporter of education who has dedicated many hours of volunteer service to make Rochester’s schools better.
She is currently PTA president at the World of Inquiry School No. 58, where she has been an active parent leader for the past eight years. She also serves on numerous district committees including the Report Card Committee.
“When our school adopted our current reform model, Expeditionary Learning—Outward Bound, Heather led the way with parent information sessions and PTA events to help support the model,” said World of Inquiry Principal Beth Mascitti-Miller. “She also supported the first World of Inquiry School Carnival which raised over $2,000 for the Dream Factory, a foundation that supports children with chronic illnesses.
“There is never a day that goes by that Heather is not at the school or a phone call away for anything the school or the District needs.” |
