Elaine Weinzler Francesco is the parent of Amelia Francesco, an eighth grader at School of the Arts. Elaine is an active member of the School Based Planning Team, Parent-Teach-Student Association (PTSA), and Communications Team at SOTA.

As PTSA secretary, she provides all parents with detailed minutes of the PTSA meetings. She also posts these on SOTANews, an e-mail tool that all parents, students, and staff can access and for which Elaine is the administrator. She helps create a positive environment by providing students and parents a vehicle for airing their concerns and proposing solutions.

Elaine also coordinates efforts to show appreciation to teachers and has been active in the annual SOTA Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. She promotes giving all staff credit for their hard work and adds to the quality of life at SOTA.
