The School of Imaging & Information Technology at Edison, 655 Colfax Street, will host an educational meeting of Leadership Rochester on Friday, December 14 beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Leadership Rochester is a non-profit organization that identifies and develops leaders representative of greater Rochester who are encouraged to serve and contribute to the betterment of the community.
The purpose of the meeting is to examine issues that present barriers to student success and identify innovative solutions to those issues.
Rochester Interim Superintendent of Schools Dr. William C. Cala will address the group from 8:00-9:15 a.m.
From 9:30 to 11:30, members will break into groups and tour schools around Monroe County. One group will tour the School of Imaging & Information Technology (IIT) at Edison from 10:45-11:30. Others will visit several city and suburban schools.
Housed at the University of Rochester, Leadership Rochester has trained hundreds of leaders from all segments of the greater Rochester community.
