City Students Complete Pre-College Programs Through University of Rochester’s Rochester Scholars Programs

This summer, 27 Rochester City School District students took a break from vacation to continue their learning at the University of Rochester. These students attended Rochester Scholars and Rochester Scholars Jr., the University of Rochester's prestigious pre-college academic programs.

Rochester Scholars allows students in grades 6-12 to experience college first-hand by participating in mini-courses on the University’s River and Medical Center campuses. Classes are taught by UR faculty members, graduate students, and top local educators and include hands-on projects and field trips.
