What is the Instructional Technology Infusion Initiative?

The Instructional Technology Infusion Initiative was developed by the Department of Instructional Technology as a program to upgrade Instructional Technology components and provide intensive, individualized Professional Development for all building staff. The goal is to have teachers become more effective users and integrators of technology in the curricula. The 3 year plan targets elementary schools. This year, eleven schools are participating: #6, #12, #20, #22, #23, #35, #39, #45, #46, #50 and #52. By Fall 2006, all elementary schools will be part of this initiative
