DRA Online was created to streamline the collection and use of DRA data for both teachers and administrators in schools and throughout districts. The primary purposes of DRA Online are:
- Store and manage student data centrally
- View student progress from K-8 at a glance and comprehensively
- Easily group students for instructional needs for instruction
- Generate an array of student progress reports for teachers, report analysts, and school-, sub district, and district-level DRA Online managers
- Disaggregate DRA data in order to meet accountability requirements of school and district improvement plans
