“World Class Academics” At Monroe, we embrace language and diversity as well as academics. In addition to the traditional three “R’s”: reading, arithmetic and writing, we enrich our curricula with our three “R’s”: rigor, relevance and relationships. Students in grades 7 & 8 are required to wear uniforms.
Some of the highlights of our school include:
Partnerships with local colleges & universities: Monroe partners with local colleges and universities to offer enhanced learning opportunities for our students. This includes our Ready, Set, Go to College partnership with the University of Rochester.
Dual credit courses with Monroe Community College and Genesee Community College where students earn college credit while in high school
College Board Advanced Placement (AP) and SpringBoard ELA classes prepare students for college-level academic work.
Student Support Center that offers counseling, health, and academic services in partnership with community agencies.
