School-Wide Mock Election

A Message From The Assistant Principal

Hello and Happy New Year! Our new year means many things for us at School No. 1. It is an opportunity to renew and refresh our minds for the academic goals that have been set and in some ways adjusted. With that in mind, students will begin mid-year progress assessments on January 14th and in April we have State testing for Math and ELA. We are providing students with intervention support based on their current needs through in-school and after-school tutoring.

It is also certainly an opportunity for us to begin to think more about our social, physical and emotional well-being. The District is hosting a Title 1 Conference and Health and Wellness Fair and we will continue to host our annual school-wide health fair on April 30th. As a school, we are also reaching out more to support our families and children in an effort to provide them with the best opportunity for success.

By now I am certain that I have spoken with most of you and/or have had a conference. If not please reach out and give me a call so that we can continue to provide better and more innovative ways of working together to develop our children.

Ms. Strong
