Minimum Eligibility Requirements
In order for a student to be considered as a candidate for the Youth Apprenticeship Program, he/she must meet or exceed the minimum selection requirements.
A student must :

be 16 years of age by the end of the first marking period of the student's junior year |
|
have a GPA of 2.0 in core courses |
|
have 90% attendance |
|
have achieved 11th grade status |
|
have completed core courses
-Course I Regents Math
-Science (1 year)
-English (2 years)
-Social Studies (2 years)
|
|
have no short- or long-term suspensions. |
