Tournament MVP Chad Thomas scored 15 points to lead 5 players in double figures as East High won their 2nd tournament championship game. East High jump out to an early 9-2 lead to take control of a game which saw them trialing only once at 28-27. Eastridge could never get into an offensive flow as East High defense forced them into tough shot selections. Brian Jackson led Eastridge with 19 points. Jackson became the 1st player to be named League MVP and Newcomer Of The Year simultaneously.
