“Engineering the Future”

 

  • Prepares students for entry-level jobs in engineering and manufacturing as well as further study at the college level.

  • Expeditionary Learning Model emphasizes learning by doing, with a focus on character growth, teamwork, reflection and literacy. Teachers take students on expeditions and connect them to learning experiences and character development opportunities.

  • Co-op opportunities available in engineering and manufacturing fields.

  • Courses offered in Design & Drawing for Production, Digital Electronics, Engineering, Design & Development, Principles of Engineering, Basic Machine & Design, Precision Machine and Machine & Design Processes.

  • Participates in Project Lead the Way, a national program that supports school/college/business partnerships to introduce students to careers in engineering.

  • Dual-credit, AP and Honors courses offered.

  • S.T.E.P. Program through RIT that provides tutoring services.

  • Houses four computer labs, and integrates computer skills into classroom learning.

  • Full sports program.

  • Student Support Center provides youth and family services.

  • Serves grades 10-12.
