Dear Bilingual Educators and Friends, Welcome to the Bilingual, ESOL, LEAP and Hispanic Services Website, which is intended to provide useful and focused starting points. This website has been developed with you in mind. First of all, we would like to present all the services and programs we have available through our department. Secondly, we want to have another vehicle for sharing significant information of all the great endeavors we have initiated and will continue to develop in the future. It is very important for us to keep you informed of our programs, new initiatives and community efforts. The Bilingual, ESOL, LEAP and Hispanic Services Department encompasses a wide range of services. Our primary responsibility is to educate our Bilingual, limited English language learners, Second language learners, immigrants and refugees toward becoming life-long learners and productive citizens capable of succeeding in an increasingly interdependent and complex world. It is not an easy task, but one we take to heart and do with passion. It is our goal to make this department a community resource for the education of English language learners, with the mission to motivate all students from diverse backgrounds to reach their full potential.
