Quality Assurance
Committee, 5:30 p.m. Commissioner Van
Henri White chairs the Quality Assurance
committee, which also includes Commissioners
Melisza Campos and Allen Williams.
Thursday, May 8:
Special Meeting, 6 p.m.
2008-09 budget adoption vote. An Executive
Session is anticipated following the meeting to
discuss litigation.
Monday, May 12:
Policy Committee, 6 p.m.
Public Hearing, 2008-09 Code of Conduct. The
committee will gather input into how the current
Code should be revised. Participants do not have
to register to speak at this meeting.
Wednesday, May 14:
Policy Committee, 6 p.m.
Public Hearing on Parent Involvement Policy 1900
and School Based Planning Policy 2265.
Participants do not have to register to speak at
this meeting.
Thursday, May 15:
Finance Committee, 5:30
p.m. The Finance Committee will discuss the
financial reports and resolutions to be
considered at the May Business Meeting.
Commissioner Willa Powell chairs the Finance
Committee, which also includes Commissioners
Cynthia Elliott and Allen Williams.
Monday, May 19:
Governance Committee, 6
p.m. Commissioner Cynthia Elliott chairs the
Board Governance Committee, which also includes
Commissioners Thomas Brennan and Melisza Campos.
Tuesday, May 20:
Policy Committee, 6 p.m.
Commissioners are expected to discuss proposed
amendments to the 2008-09 Code of Conduct and
recently conducted public hearings. Commissioner
Thomas Brennan chairs the Policy Committee,
which also includes Commissioners Cynthia
Elliott and Willa Powell.
